By Way Of Thanks To The Fans Of Half Man Half Biscuit
Yes, we’ve posted up another bundle of clothes – this time with posters added – for Half Man Half Biscuit.
Recently one of us checked the download stats for our various pieces of custom content. We’ll be honest, we are pathetic at bothering to check these things: we make things either because we want them in our own games, because we need them for something we’re planning like a story or skit, as a pick-me-up for someone or something else, or simply because we see some design and have a notion to turn it into something that can be used on Sims clothes, paintings, arcade machines, cars, etc, etc.
We were somewhat amazed – nay, flabberghasted! – that the biggest download by several furlongs turned out to by the stuff we did for Half Man Half Biscuit back on 12th April last year.
It certainly didn’t take the world by storm at the time, and we can’t say we remember noticing a lot of attention given to it anywhere else in the Sims world. Indeed, our one memory was certain ‘fan’ forums of the band having a petted lip about it (owing to the Sims series lack of streed cred it seems), yet it seems that there’s a lot of closet Sims 3 players amongst the Half Man Half Biscuit fanbase – another super soaraway Mare’s Nest exposé there!
So by way of thanks, since they have a new album out at the end of this month called 90 Bisodol (Crimond) – yes, they certainly have an eye for a title! – we thought we’d beat them to it by having t-shirts out for Simmies before the band had real t-shirts for their fans to buy in real life!
And since we were at it, we decided we’d throw in another nine t-shirt designs on top plus eight posters.
Some of the designs are our own, and most of it we will assure you will make no sense to you whatsoever if you are unfamiliar with this band.
Anyway, hope those it concerns enjoy them as much as we had fun making them, go here for these and the previous stuff made.
(What do you mean, ‘why didn’t you make a The Bastard Son Of Dean Friedman‘ t-shirt as well?’ We’ve already gone the extra mile with that Dukla Prague away kit, dammit!)
