Bite The Bullet shot down by cyber-vandals

Forums and blogs around the orbit of Black Pearl Sims have been targetted by little scumbuckets sporadically for a good part of this year, but their victim this time has been far more worrying, the large Danish based Sims forum Bite The Bullet.

Simone told everyone at Black Pearl Sims the situation and to stop any rumours before they started.

Horrible Spiders summed up the mood of everyone about these twisted little creeps.

Mikzino arrived to thank everyone for the kind words and to do her best General Douglas MacArthur impression.

Or was it Arnie in The Terminator movies?

But then Jonesi dropped a bombshell of her own – Black Pearl Sims came within a whisker of being wiped out themselves not so long ago from what could be the same scum.

Today Becky posed the question that had largely been answered already by Horrible Spiders:

They don’t attack big corporations because they have the financial clout to pressure web-hosting services to take down the said sites under threat of prosecution and to take out private prosecutions against the individuals that run the site as a warning to others.

Attacking some private individuals website for their hobby is something that unfortunately they can largely get away with in practice (incredibly whilst the laws against cyberbullying are getting tighter, basically if you’re not making any money from your site and you don’t have any financial or political clout, the law doesn’t give a toss if someone vandalises it!). It’s all a matter of power play.

Still, there’s one law these little dipshits probably are unfamiliar with – and that’s the Threefold Law of Return – or in short ‘what goes around, comes around.’

Just ask Jeremy Hammond.
