Black Pearl Sims To Close

To say this came as a bolt from the blue is putting it mildly.

Okay, a number of things here.

Firstly, why is Jonesi – Captain of the Black Pearl Sims ship – so silent in all this?

Secondly, what happened to the rescue plan back in February which supposedly had cut all the costs to make the site affordable again? Four months down the line and everything seemed fine again, now all of a sudden it’s back to sinking the Black Pearl Sims boat and getting on a new one with a new name – same plan that was touted in February.

Reading between the lines, it seems the truth of the matter is that Jonesi wants out of running a forum, but rather than everyone doing the sensible thing – hand it over to new management – they’re flushing the name down the toilet whilst handing the money for BPS over entirely to a new concern.

For this is the important part – those who donated (over £600’s worth if you remember) did so for a site called Black Pearl Sims.

What’s in a name?
