But that’s just it, Belgium is part of the European Union, a customs union of 508 million people (as opposed to the U.S at 325 million) where goods can be moved freely, and being at its heart rather than some provincial backwater shipping costs shouldn’t come into it. It’s pretty hard to escape the conclusion the rest of the world subsidises cheaper laptops for the American market.

Of course, you could earn the money for a better PC Gitte by running computer part smuggling operations into the UK when we Brexit, you’ll be a millionaire within a year easily!
